Following a trip across the country, Vancouver Island to Nova Scotia, in the last year of the century, writing songs on the road in a 1976 Gran Le Mans, Dave settled into a shack on North Mountain in the Annapolis Valley. This album was recorded there, by candlelight and 12V 4-Track studio, over the first winter of the millennium.
